High-profile Queensland man's identity protected in extortion case

A high-profile Queensland man, referred to as MM in court documents, will have his identity kept confidential after the state's supreme court rejected a legal challenge to a suppression order. The man became involved in a Cairns extortion case earlier this year but is neither a party to the case nor facing any charges himself.
