Switzerland maintains the world's largest network of nuclear bomb shelters with over 370,000 facilities, despite its neutral status. Rather than dismantling these Cold War-era structures after the conflict ended, Switzerland continued expanding its shelter infrastructure. Some of these bunkers have been repurposed in recent years to accommodate migrants.
