Ismael Zambada sentenced to life in US prison
Ismael Zambada, the notorious co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel known as 'El Mayo,' has been sentenced to life in prison in the United States. In addition to his life sentence, Zambada was ordered to pay $15 billion after admitting to trafficking vast quantities of drugs into the US.
