Spotify to label and deprioritize AI-generated artists in recommendations

Spotify is implementing a new labeling system starting mid-September that will identify AI-generated artists to listeners. The platform will also remove AI-generated artists from its recommendation algorithms, affecting playlist curation and discovery features.
