A new test shows that AI chatbots are more effective than traditional search engines at identifying and debunking foreign propaganda and disinformation. While AI-generated summaries displayed above search results performed poorly at combating falsehoods, the chatbots demonstrated stronger resistance to uncritically spreading misleading claims from other countries.
