Supreme Court Keeps Trump Ballroom Work Going

Chief Justice John Roberts issued a temporary order allowing construction of President Trump's White House ballroom to proceed while the Supreme Court deliberates on whether to grant a longer stay. Lower courts had previously ruled that the project required congressional authorization. The Supreme Court is simultaneously considering other challenges related to Trump's mail ballot order and preparing for litigation over new Canada tariffs.
