Man dies after cross-border police pursuit ends in NSW northern rivers
A 25-year-old man died following a police pursuit in NSW's northern rivers region after initially evading Queensland police on the Gold Coast while allegedly armed with a gun. The man was found unconscious at the wheel of his vehicle, which had crashed down an embankment south of Murwillumbah around 2am Sunday. NSW police have declared the incident a critical incident.
