Apple Maps has ads now

Apple Maps has begun displaying advertisements from paid businesses, fulfilling the company's March announcement about allowing paid placement. Ads are currently appearing as the first entry in the "suggested places" section on iPhones and will also be featured at the top of search results. This marks Apple's move to monetize its mapping service through targeted advertising.
