Microsoft pressures LG into killing unwanted McAfee ads
Microsoft has successfully pressured LG into removing unwanted McAfee trial pop-ups that were appearing on Windows 11 users' screens through LG monitors. Windows chief Pavan Davuluri announced that LG has agreed to immediately disable the McAfee pop-ups from its Monitor App Installer. Microsoft committed to ongoing efforts to prevent similar bloatware issues from affecting its users.
