Brisbane woman gives birth to rare identical quadruplets
A 34-year-old Brisbane woman, Jenitar Na'amoana, has given birth to identical quadruplets in what is believed to be an Australian first. The quadruplets resulted from a naturally conceived pregnancy with odds of one in 15 million, where a single fertilized egg spontaneously split into four identical babies. Na'amoana already had four children and had not planned this pregnancy.
