September BOJ Interest Rate Hike May Not Sufficiently Support Yen
Rabobank's head of FX strategy Jane Foley suggests that the Bank of Japan's planned September interest-rate hike may not be sufficient to significantly strengthen the yen. According to Foley, the BOJ will likely need to implement additional monetary policy measures beyond a single rate increase to achieve meaningful yen appreciation.
