Canadian airline cancels flight after child refuses to wear seatbelt
A Porter Airlines flight from Victoria to Toronto was cancelled on August 6 after a child refused to wear a seatbelt and repeatedly stood up in their seat during taxiing. Despite efforts by the parent and crew members to secure the child, they were unable to comply with safety requirements. The aircraft returned to the terminal and both passengers were required to disembark.
