NAIDOC awards honour Rhoda Roberts with lifetime achievement award
Rhoda Roberts, a proud Widjabul Wieybal woman of the Bundjalung nation, has been posthumously honored with the lifetime achievement award at the Naidoc awards for her exceptional contributions to First Nations culture. Throughout her life, Roberts dedicated herself to sharing, preserving, and promoting Indigenous culture through language, dance, and ceremony. She passed away in March at age 66 and was recognized as one of Australia's greatest cultural ambassadors.
