Volvo's cars will warn one another about hazards in the road

Volvo is implementing a new connected safety feature that allows its vehicles to communicate directly with each other to warn drivers about hazards such as animals and vulnerable road users on the road ahead. Unlike crowdsourced alert systems used by navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze, Volvo's system relies on car-to-car communication for real-time hazard detection. This technology is being rolled out to three of Volvo's electric vehicle models.
