AMD and Anthropic reach $5 billion AI infrastructure deal
AMD has announced a $5 billion investment in AI company Anthropic as part of a strategic partnership to expand computing infrastructure. Under the deal, Anthropic will deploy up to 2 gigawatts of AMD's Instinct MI450 AI GPUs using the company's new Helios rack-scale system, strengthening AMD's position in the competitive AI hardware market.
