Rose Davies wins gold in 5,000m at Commonwealth Games in Glasgow

Australian runner Rose Davies won gold in the 5,000m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, completing a historic double after also winning the 10,000m earlier in the competition. The 26-year-old from Newcastle became the first woman ever to achieve this feat at the Commonwealth Games. Davies narrowly defeated her Australian teammate Jessica Hull in a closely contested race.
