Trump EPA climate fund freeze ruled unlawful by appeals court
A federal appeals court ruled that the Trump EPA illegally canceled $20 billion in climate funds and ordered that frozen accounts be unfrozen. Climate nonprofits can now resume access to their federal funding that had been blocked for over a year following the EPA's directive to Citibank to freeze their accounts.
