Ceuta leader accuses Morocco of facilitating mass border crossing

Ceuta's leader Juan Jesús Vivas has accused Morocco of orchestrating or at least permitting a massive border crossing that saw approximately 50,000 migrants flood into the Spanish enclave, characterizing it as an attack on Spain's territorial integrity. Spain's interior ministry reports that roughly 48,300 of these migrants have been returned to Morocco, while the crisis has overwhelmed the city of 84,000 residents and sparked political tensions within the EU.
