Brethren church denies paying far-right activists for election stunts

The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church has firmly denied allegations that it secretly funded far-right activists to stage disruptive stunts against Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and other politicians during the 2025 election. The church leadership also rejected claims of coordinating hundreds of volunteers to support Liberal candidates at polling booths, dismissing Nine newspapers' reporting as completely false during a parliamentary inquiry appearance.
