President's Nuclear Stance and Iran War Declaration

Former Deputy Director of National Intelligence Karen Gibson warns that if President Trump declares an end to hostilities with Iran, it would signal abandonment of key war objectives, particularly efforts to constrain Iran's nuclear program. Gibson further cautions that merely ending the conflict is unlikely to convince Iran to lift its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz unless the US also abandons its economic sanctions campaign.
