Android Quick Share tap-to-share feature
Android is launching a tap-to-share feature through its Quick Share service, allowing devices to exchange files and contact information by tapping together. The feature is available starting today for Pixel 6 series and newer devices, with a rollout coming soon to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Fold 8, and Flip 8 models. This update brings Android closer to Apple's AirDrop functionality.
