Uber partners with Zipline for drone deliveries

Uber has partnered with drone delivery company Zipline to launch airborne food deliveries through Uber Eats later this year. As part of the partnership, Uber is making a strategic investment in Zipline, which has already been operating drone deliveries in Texas since 2025. The companies aim to scale up to one million daily drone deliveries by 2029.
