The NHTSA has launched an investigation into approximately 1.2 million Tesla vehicles following complaints of suspension failures that could result in loss of vehicle directional control. The probe covers Tesla Model 3 vehicles from 2018-2020 and Model Y vehicles from 2021-2023, according to an official NHTSA filing.
