TikTok testing AI likeness detection tool

TikTok is launching a new opt-in tool that uses AI to detect deepfakes and synthetic likenesses of creators on the platform. The detection tool is currently being tested with a select group of US creators and allows them to report detected AI-generated content to TikTok.
