Sydney beaches deploy drones for shark attack prevention

Sydney is implementing a $34 million drone monitoring program across 70 New South Wales beaches to help restore swimmer confidence following recent shark attacks. The dawn-to-dusk surveillance initiative, operated by Surf Life Saving New South Wales, is being hailed by experts as the most effective technology currently available for beach safety monitoring.
